Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity (see above) are offering a series of Discernment Events and Retreats in 2020. Please remember we’re always glad to come to you as well, if you’re in driving distance from one of our mission sites in the SW, Central, Midwest US, Ohio or Mississippi.

We enjoy driving – we’re a mendicant order after all – time to pray and reflect on the wonderful dioceses and people where we serve.

God Calls You. We Invite You. Dios te llama. Te invitamos. Https://fscc-calledtobe.org

From the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, NY - this is the congregation that takes of incurable cancer patients. This link lists four Come & See weekends in 2020 - the first one is this very weekend, so that ship has sailed. But there's plenty of lead time for the other three this year.

The Trappist nuns of Mount Saint Mary's will have a virtual Come and See in August this year.

Mount Saint Mary's Abbey--Wrentham, MA

Public · Hosted by

Mount Saint Mary's Abbey--Wrentham, MA

In February and August each year, we offer Monastic Experience Weekends to give women discerning a religious vocation an immersion in our communal prayer and a taste of our way of life through the witness and experience of some of our sisters. These events also offer the joy of meeting other young women who are seeking their place in the Church. Time is provided for individual conversations with the sisters on the formation team.

A weekend experience will not necessarily lead to a decision but it usually sheds light upon each one's path. Young women have found participating in this weekend helpful in their spiritual lives.

If you are a single Catholic woman of any racial or ethnic background, between the ages of 20 and 40, you are most welcome. Come and see!
