They  are an old community, but only recently came to America from Poland.

Just traditional and pretty common for Pre Vatican II.

I think it is the way the veil is not closely attached at the top that makes it look a bit different.

On that vocation page in specific, it looks like the sisters were on a hike, and the veil has come 'unseated' a bit.  If you look through the rest of the pictures, it looks pretty standard and is sitting flat on top of the bandeau/coif.

I realised what seemed off to me. The veil is round at the edge but the bandeau is square and sits forward on the forehead.

This looks like a wonderful young(ish), vibrant community of sisters!! To bad they are in Poland.
