Communities Similar to the Alton Franciscans?

Does anyone know of a community that would be similar to the Alton Franciscans in their charism alone (not specifically that are Franciscan, work in healthcare, are contemplative/active, etc.) just that have a similar charism

Hi Alison.  Can you describe the charism a bit?  Maybe that would help us know what you are looking for.  So far you have reached the end of my knowlege of their charism.. lol.

'The Franciscan Sisters TOR say this on their Spirituality and Charisms page:  "It is our mission to bring God’s mercy into the world, incarnating the selfless and compassionate love of Christ."  It is under the heading "Mercy."  They are also Franciscan, and active-contemplative.  I went on a discernment retreat with them once upon a time.

I'm a Franciscan, too!  I'm not familiar with the community you mention, but we are active and contemplative.  We operate St. Anne's, a home for the elderly and disabled, with a special dedication to serving those in need.
