This looks very much like the Catholic grade school I attended back in the early 1960s, write down to the white shirt and tie for boys and plaid dresses for girls

 

It was a long time ago,  in a place far far away

Every first Friday of the month, the entire school walked across the lot to our parish,  St. Mary's Church and attended mass
