From lapsed Catholic to enrolling my daughter into religious education

What a journey it has been the past two years. My dad died in 2023 and I came back to the faith as a result. I had probably been away for a good 15 years or so at that point.

Now I go to church every Sunday with my family and we are enrolling our daughter in religious education to get her sacraments. I go to confession regularly and daily mass whenever I can. And we are burying my dad's ashes in a Catholic cemetery next year in my hometown. I also started St. Louis de Montfort's devotion this past Sunday!:paco:

I've never felt more at peace, content, and happy. I love being a Catholic and can't wait to grow deeper in my faith. Phatmass was instrumental in my early convert days and I'm glad it's still around. Even if it's a little TOO quiet around here.

Good to hear from you! Thanks for the update. Glad to know that you find comfort (or whatever more) in your faith.
