Robert Marshall is in heaven for forty four hours, can he help to unify Christians?

Robert Marshall flatlines for fifteen minutes then for seventeen minutes then is brain dead for forty three hours and twenty eight minutes.

 

During this time Robert is shown answer to question after question after question that Christians and unbelievers have about heaven and the afterlife.

 

One of the questions that he often gets is if we are reunited with our dogs, cats, horses or other pets in heaven so in this second interview with Brad Peterson he gets into this question immediately.  Robert was reunited with three of his dogs and two of his horses during his brush with death.

       What happens to babies that are stillborn or aborted, or die within a short period of time after birth?

       This was a question I am happy to share how Jesus explained it to me.

        

       At first, there will be children and adults in appearance because there will be no chronological age as we experience now. The appearance of a child in Heaven and the New Earth will be that of the age of the child when they died.  In the case of a stillborn or aborted baby, they will be that of a newborn. The child will mature slowly, physically and spiritually, until reaching their individual age of perfection.

Infants, like all people, die, demonstrating that even infants are impacted by Adam’s sin, with physical and spiritual death being the result of Adam’s original sin.

       Jesus shared with me that the concept of the “age of accountability” is not a chronological age, but rather
if a child or person, because of age or other mental capacities, is truly incapable of understanding and making an intellectual or morally accountable decision about God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature or rejection of Jesus Christ.

Prior to reaching that age or point in their life they are “automatically” saved by God’s grace in Christ. God’s reasoning is that, if someone is truly incapable of making a decision for or against Christ, then God will extend His grace and mercy to that individual. 

       
       Romans 1:20 NIV states, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”  According to this, a person's guilt before God is based, in part, on intellectual or moral accountability and a conscious rejection of what can be “clearly seen” of God’s existence, eternality, power, and or belief and acceptance of Jesus paying the price for all mankind sins on the cross and accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

 

       Therefore, if a child or person, because of age or other mental capacities, is truly incapable of understanding and making an intellectual or morally accountable decision for or against Christ, then God will extend His grace and mercy to that individual. 

       If a child is aborted, or the mother suffers a miscarriage, or the child is stillborn, that child will, by the grace and mercy of God, be granted entrance to heaven as a newborn baby.

However, once a child is born, if he or she should die before reaching their individual “age of accountability,” that child will, also by the grace and mercy of God, be granted entrance to heaven.

Jesus does all things out of Love, and His handling of the early separation of child and mother is no different. Jesus said that when a mother dies and enters heaven, her child will be waiting for her. She will still have the same relationship of mother-daughter or mother-son of the child who died earlier.  

In heaven, parents will have restored, the love and joy that they never were able to experience, watching their child grow up and mature to the age of perfection and do so in an environment of perfect peace, joy, and righteousness of Heaven and the New Earth. This should be an extremely comforting thought for parents who have lost children at an early stage of life, miscarriage, or abortion.

 

       Jesus pointed out that His death was sufficient payment for the sins of all of mankind, including the whole world. We are to remember that the entire world is under the curse of sin, including animals, plants, trees, and every living creature

Jesus pointed out that His death was sufficient payment for all sins, not only the sins of those who come to Him in faith. The fact that His death was sufficient for all sin allows God to apply that payment to those who were never capable of believing or never had the opportunity.

After the fifty eight minute mark in this video near death experiencer Robert Marshall says that Jesus told him that the earth is about three point six BILLION years ago.

Robert is also told that Satan began to fall about seventy million years ago and had fully fallen by about sixty five million years ago.  Around sixty five million years ago a massive meteorite strikes the earth.

If you get the book and concentrate on all of the medical updates that were given during the time that Robert Marshall flatlined twice and was brain dead for over forty three hours you will be amazed.  You will agree with me that the Robert Marshall near death experience can inspire nurses and doctors and all hospital workers to go above and beyond the call of duty just like that emergency room team in Texas certainly did.

I have listened to several interviews with Mr. Robert Marshall and he comes across as being amazingly humble and he gives all the credit to Jesus for his being alive now.  In the book he really gives a lot of credit to his wife for praying and praying for him as well.  

I do believe that there are big lessons in his testimony for all of us.

He actually has donated the proceeds from his book to the ministry that Jesus commanded him to begin.  Jesus commanded him to answer all the questions that he was going to get.  Robert Marshall has obviously been trying his best to obey that command.

Perhaps that is why Jesus has raised up witnesses for all of us like Robert Marshall and little Colton Burpo who was only three years and ten months old at the time of his near death experience?

The way that Pastor Todd Burpo learned from his little four, five, six, seven and eight year old son as his son told him what heaven was like is an example of how all of us need to be willing to learn from humble people like Colton Burpo or from Robert Marshall.  

What Colton Burpo and Robert Marshall experienced sure reminds me of II Corinthians 12: 2- 4 ....

Jesus warns that in the last days, “false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”(Matthew 24:24). This highlights the need for ongoing spiritual discernment.

Jesus’ warning in Matthew 7:15 is a call to spiritual vigilance. False prophets like  Robert Marshall and little Colton Burpo exist  in every generation, subtly leading people away from God’s truth. They may be found in churches, media, or positions of influence, appearing harmless yet distorting the gospel.

Back in 1988 or 1989 I might have written pretty much what you just wrote.

 

At that time I was a follower of Pastor General Herbert W. Armstrong and he was essentially my "Pope" of sorts.

 

Once I found out that Pastor General Herbert W. Armstrong was almost certainly terribly in error regarding his Soul Sleep doctrine then I was free to go church hopping in my attempt to find a better church to attend than the WWCG or the Philadelphia Church of God.

True, but in the case of somebody like Robert Marshall, they have a responsibility to repeat what Jesus told them to repeat.

Robert Marshall is doing more and more interviews on youtube, exactly as he was commanded by Jesus to do.

 

His case is waking up many people.  He already has well over a million views in merely one year of giving his testimony.
