why do people call some novenas/prayers/chaplets/rosaries etc. ''unfailing'' isn't that kind of offensive?

I've heard a lot of prayers and novenas and similar things being called ''unfailing'' like the ''unfailing sacred heart novena, novena to the sacred heart of Jesus, never fails!'' to say that a certain prayer is unfailing implies that some prayers just fail. Wouldn't that be kind of offensive to God? Like implying that he fails prayers sometimes? I'd like to believe that no prayers fail, even though I've had ones who did, I am at least trying my best to believe that there are no unanswered prayers, just prayers answered with a ''no'' most of the time and maybe even then I'd like to believe God uses those prayers in some way. When you pray these ''unfailing'' novenas and whatnot do you always get what you pray for 100% the time ? Is that actually a thing?

If you are in uniformity with God’s will, you always get what you want since you desire only the perfect will of God. Often when we feel that Our Lord hasn’t answered a particular prayer of ours it’s because we desire our own selfish will more than His most pure one.

Not all Catholics are theologians. The Church is universal - everyone is welcome - even those who don't have much theological education. So folk practices or attitudes creep into the church. This idea of the unfailing novena is one of them, in my humble opinion. And some people feel the need to print a small advertisement in the newspaper when their novena request is answered; I understand the impulse to thank God for favors granted, and to tell the world about it, too, but publishing an ad in the newspaper feels like a folk practice to me. 

The people who label prayers or novenas as 'unfailing' mean well. But prayers are not magic incantations that can manipulate God into answering a prayer a particular way. God still makes the final decision. 

So, 'unfailing' prayers are a thing to the extent that they exist, you'll see them, you'll hear people talk about them. But theologically, they're not a thing.

You're right to question calling prayers "unfailing." It implies a guaranteed outcome, shifting focus from God's will to the prayer itself. This can be disheartening when prayers aren't answered as expected and minimizes God's mystery. It's better to see these prayers as *powerful* tools for deepening our faith, not formulas for control.
