Guest Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I am very much anti abortion, as much as can be, please don't get me wrong. But I just wish I either died very young/were aborted or never existed. Is this a sin?
Luigi Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I don't know if it's a sin, but it's unproductive - it's pointless. You are alive. So the only real question is, "What are you going to do?" My mother-in-law used to say, "If we had some ham, we could have some ham & eggs... if we had some eggs." You can waste your whole life away saying "If, if, if," or "I wish, I wish, I wish." But it's more productive to deal with your current reality than to waste your time wishing and hoping.
CountrySteve937 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I think thinking about this in a "sin or not a sin" mentality is not the best way to approach this feeling. Rather, bringing these feelings to God and giving them to Him, that's what he wants. Even Job prayed "would I had been a stillborn" and God knows our suffering (that's the meaning of the cross after all).
