"A book admirably fitted by its proper representation of the Tradesman’s duties, and the close and warm enforcement of them upon the conscience, from the arguments of Scripture and reason, to do excellent service (under the blessing of God) to the shop and to the world." -Isaac Watts How the tradesperson / business person can incorporate God into their practice. It's super old. First published in 1684 lol
Anastasia13 Posted March 22 Author Posted March 22 Just got this! Eep. Still need to get The Art of Myrrhbearing by Elissa Davis for my reading group.
Luigi Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Sacramental and civil records - births, baptisms, weddings, burials - from Callian, France in the late 1700s. They're written in French, and I have to decipher the handwriting first. It's slow going, but it's interesting and rewarding.
