Tableone Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Some years ago, I saw a website about a community of nuns (probably east coast or mid-west) that had a community of laypeople, men and women, who lived together on the convent grounds but separately from the nuns. Some of these laypeople were disabled - there was a story and picture about one man paralyzed in a electric wheelchair. The charism of these laypeople was to offer up their sufferings. Their website looked old-fashioned. Does anyone know anything about them? I have lost their website. I am NOT talking about an Order with disabled members - this was a convent with a separate group of laypeople. I want to join them. Anyone know anything? Many thanks and God bless us all...
