Crusader_4 Posted August 19, 2004 Posted August 19, 2004 MC JUST do you think any of the bishops would approve it or organize it because it can be a lay movement...but i think it makes a huge difference if the Hierachy is in charge especially in recruiting etc.

Crusader_4 Posted August 19, 2004 Posted August 19, 2004 IF the Pope declared one and literally like in the past when Crusades were ran people signed up and it was organized similar and you could have the Bishops appoint the Generals (prob K of C) and run something like we were talking about. I think that would be amazing and almost nesscairy right now.

I can testify to the depths of her twisted agenda. Also Hitler was actually a fan of Margaret Sanger's ideas. Her personal life was pretty bizzare too, she married a wealthy Anglican man and was in the habit of having lovers come to their house (male and female) where she would cheat on her husban in their own bed. This was not kept secret either, he just learned to live with it I guess.

[/quote] yep, that practically says it all. another disturbing tid-bit is that I know of an "inter-faith" chapel that has a stained glass window of Margaret Sanger. Something kind of cool though is that she went to India to promote a eugenics program among the poor and she got to meet Ghandi. Anyway, she used all the smooth rhetoric she could come up with the try and win Ghandi's support for contraception as a solution to overpopulation and poverty. Ghandi kept it real and completely rejected the use of contraception. If only he had known about NFP like we do now he would have had a card to play back at her. This account is given in Margaret Sanger's autobiography but she is very nasty toward Ghandi when she describes it.
