theculturewarrior Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Don'tcha hate it when you say something really phunny and nobody hears you? My coworker straightened her hair and it looked real nice and everybody was phawning over her. So I said, "when I want a new look, I just don't take a shower." It's phunny because it's true!
Thy Geekdom Come Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Yeah, and you can't repeat the joke because it either screws up the timing or one person may have heard you before and either heckles you ("Okay, we heard it the first time...") or things you're an attention-starved pathetic loser (which I am).
livingHimloud Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 new look yes, new smell too though. maybe it's not worth it.
theculturewarrior Posted September 13, 2004 Author Posted September 13, 2004
new look yes, new smell too though. maybe it's not worth it.
It's okay. I keep an industrial sized bottle of "New Musk for Men Under 30" in my office.
Theoketos Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 I saw a European Sutdy that linked male sweet to female ovulation...
phatcatholic Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 tcw, i also hate it when you say something funny, only one person in the group hears it, and then that one person repeats what you said and everyone laughs. then, they get credit for the joke and you don't get any props!
theculturewarrior Posted September 13, 2004 Author Posted September 13, 2004 LOL...that's never happened to me.
I hate that too. I'm usually the wisecracker sitting in the back of the room poking fun at people ... even if no one else hears me, at least I'm amused.
Yeah, but if nobody heard you they couldn't steal your line. You've gotta learn to be a little louder and more obnoxious.
homeschoolmom Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 The best pudding I've ever had was double chocolate tapioca, cooked by a Southern grandma. It was then I knew that tapioca is without a doubt the king of all puddings, with banana pudding a close second. Yay! Yay for tapioca! :cheer:
