PedroX Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Ok, so I'm sitting in the computer lounge here at seminary, and this huge roach just ran across the floor. I'm not sure I can sleep tonight.
Piccoli Fiori JMJ Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Roaches are your friends!

Pete-ster Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 The best way to get rid of roaches? Stomp their filthy germ-ridded bodies into the floor.
Thy Geekdom Come Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Gross. I'm allergic to cockroaches.
Pete-ster Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004
I'm allergic to cockroaches.
That's too bad, 'cause they're sooooooooo yummy!

Donna Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 PedroX, you must find some borax. Do NOT fumigate...the effects could be worse than the fiends.
Sojourner Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Yes, PedroX. Borax is the key. I'll see if I can find some when I go shopping this weekend and send it off to you. I hate roaches too. They give me the heebie jeebies ...
Phazzan Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Don't be a sissy! Our house is full of roaches, we've actually befriended them. I name the big one bitey! :-D
DemonSlayer Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 I'm not scared of any insects, but I have more problems with silverfish, because they're everywhere.

mmmerf Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Roaches are what's keeping me from moving to Texas. That, and the lack of a job offer. But if someone offered me roach-free employment, my yee-haws would be heard for days. Dave
Dave Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Oh man, I know how you feel, PedroX. My house has its share of roaches. The area it is used to be a wooded area, and so there were already roaches there. So unlike those roaches who live in your walls, pipes, etc. these roaches just come in from under the door. There's nothing you can really do about that -- calling an exterminator won't do any good for outside bugs.
Andrea348 Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 one of the dorms on my campus has roaches. yuck. i am sooooo glad i never lived there. they are shutting it down because of all the bugs and it is structurally unsound.
Carrie Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 gross! I hate roaches! Call the exterminator!
mattosika Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 (edited) i think i heard somewhere that a roach can live like a week without its head Edited September 17, 2004 by mattosika
