mattosika Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 I feel so bad. This morning driving home from work a little old Nun turned into the wrong lane and hit me, it was pretty bad to just not a little bump. Its not my fault but what can you do. She felt soooooooo bad and I tried to tell her its only a car, and it can be fixed and i was alright. I actually wasn't going to report it the cars on its last legs anyways but a cop came and made me fill out a report. Anyways I can now say a Nun hit me Peace out, everyone have a great day
azaelia Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 I don't know whether to laugh or feel bad
Fiat_Voluntas_Tua Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 That is interesting! With Charity, Andy
Theoketos Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Now, you can some one to pray for at the very least! Ave Maria James III
mmmerf Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Dude, I would TOTALLY not feel bad - Think of all the people she might have hit. You are probably in the top 0.1 percent of nice people in this situation. She could have hit anybody - and she hit someone who got out of the car thinking charitably. And maybe she shouldn't be driving anymore - if everyone's okay, then this is a good way for her to get that message. She could have hit someone mean, someone anti-catholic, someone who wouldn't care that she was a nun... instead she got to hit you. God is Good! Dave

Thy Geekdom Come Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Awww. Poor little nun . My brother hit a parked car in a lot once and went into the store to have them ask whose car it was...it was a nun...and she was the world's leading authority on St. Francis of Assisi...
Scofizzle Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 I think im gunna call this situation funny...seing that no one was hurt and there was no sunstantial damaga and everything will be covered by insurance...yes getting hit by a nun...humorous
StColette Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Awwwww poor sister I've never really heard of a story quite like this before lol My dad accidentally hit a nun one day..... With a grocery cart lol they were both coming around the corner and dad hit her with the buggy He felt sooooooooooooo bad. lol The sister just laughed lol
yomichael Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 This is so weird! I was just thinking about how weird it would be to get hit by or to hit a nun, brother or priest. Then I saw this. Hmmmm!
J.R.D Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 wow intresting ..... i love franciscan nuns!!!!!!
StColette Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 lol this reminds me of another story, lol I've noticed I have lots of nun stories lol Well, a friend of mine was driving and she got cut off by someone lol She was soooooooo mad !!! So she hurried up and floored it and got up beside the car at a red light, she went to look over at the driver of the car and say a few choice words....... To her surprise the driver was a nun!! My friend felt so bad for getting angry. She doesn't get angry at drivers who cut her off anymore lol
Sojourner Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 I almost got into an accident with the nun that works at our parish. She turned right in front of me and I had to slam on the brakes ... thankfully, we didn't end up colliding.
geetarplayer Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 I heard a joke about nuns, but I'm just going to change it to little old ladies for the sake of not making fun of nuns. There was a car driving very slowly, and all the other cars had to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting it. So a cop pulled the car over. He approached the car and found it to be full of little old ladies. The cop asked why they were going so slow, and the lady in the front seat said, "Well, the speed limit is only one mile an hour, officer." The officer chuckled, and explained how that wasn't the speed limit. "This is US 1. That's the name of the road, not the speed limit." The old lady graciously thanked the man. The officer looked in the back seat and saw that the rest of the little old ladies were pale and shaking violently. The cop asked, "What's wrong with them? They look very frightened." The old lady in the driver's seat smiled and said, "We just got off Route 513." -Mark
