This movie is amazing, and although it isn't really as close to 'Eloisa to Abelard' as some literature nerds might like (myself included, although I read the poem after the movie so the movie wasn't tainted), its relaly an insightful movie. The movie is creative and makes you think.

I recieved a funny email that showed a pic of a movie theatre at the time this movie came out and the outside billboard advertisement read like this - Now Showing: [b]Dawn of the Dead[/b] [b]Return of the King[/b] (LOTR) [b]Eternal Sunshine [/b](of the spotless mind) lol.
azaelia Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Ok I just saw this movie...and I love it. It wasn't what I expected, which I enjoy in most situations. And some of the lines are just unforgettable. "Sand's overrated. It's just little rocks."
crusader1234 Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 To me, the first 20 minuts are amazing in a light sort of way - then you get this comedic drama with all sorts of stunning visuals and its like you're watching fireworks that are really eloquent.
