Actually, I think he's one of the "anyone but Bush" crowd. He's involved with organizations that use this as their motto.

Because he's not Bush. That's the biggest reason why Kerry is getting votes, simply because he is not Bush.

It's very frustrating when people you love and look up to support things that you disagree with. I used to really like Kirsten Dunst as an actress but when she was supporting the pro-choice march and has basically taken on the role of the typical liberal hollywoodie, my opinion of her has diminished. It's a disappointment.

I think in general a lot of musicians and artists tend towards more geared toward left field and liberal thinking, which is why a lot of them are voting against Bush. Sometimes the way us creative people are hard wired to try to think differently than what is perceived to be the "norm" can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing.

As an artist myself I don't always have a problem with thinking outside the box (and hey, the truth is on God's side, there is no escaping the truth as he is truth after all!) -- though as someone who believes in traditional God intended moral values, I am often in the very small minority with my artist peers.
