Who Won? The First and Second Debates?

In my opinion I think Bush won both debates, the second one, it was an obviously clear victory. First one, judging on character, morality, and experience, Bush barely overcame the decepation of John Kerry's Theving tactics.

As of today, I'd vote Kerry #1, Bush #2 if there was an option.

This is suspiciously the same pattern as Bush/Gore debates 2000....

yeah, it was sort of made official by experts that Kerry won the first one, but i think Bush won the second

Bush did HORRIBLE the first one. He EASILY won the second one, tho.

Well those so called "experts" are wrong. Kerry stole everything in that debate, stole, BUSH'S Optimism, stole his character, Kerry "tricked" the American people into thinking that he something that hes not, and unforunately most of the American people has fallen for that, the minority is correct on this issue. Bush Won the Debate, but barely This is the First debate that I speak of, the second on is obviously a clearer.


Now, the Second ond, Bush SMASHED KERRY into the ground, that was an obvious, clear, and pure shaded victory.

The president made me so proud last night. When Kerry accused him of making unpopular decisions regarding treatise (or something of the sort), and bush said something like, "It wasn't the right thing to do! Sometimes you have to make decisions that aren't popular, but are the right thing to do." It made me smile. That right there meant so much to me. Bush is a good guy; he values morality over popularity (which Kerry seems to favor above anything), and that reason right there is now the biggest reason I want him in the white house. Because that right there says so much. Since he is open, we can see what his morals are. And they are good morals.

I would say Bush lost both debates.

The first one Bush lost because of his demenor and his nervousness. However, he did seem much more confindent in the second debate. Yet I would still say Bush lost Round Two for two reasons. Number One, he was rude and intruppted the moderator repeatiedly. Secondly, he didn't give anything of substance, all he did was present rehashed camgin solgans and themes. Thus Kerry by defualt won both debates.

All Kerry did was lie.

Bush lied a TON. Kerry lied a bit. LOL!

Read the fact check report. The 1st debate was more heavily on Bush, and the seond was more heavy on Chency. However this debates report is pretty well divided up. But I am going to say Bush's lies were a bit worse.

He is evvvilllll. And a robot! It was in the World Weekly News so it MUST be true. It was right after the story about the bat boy in the NYC subway. They had pictures! lol.

Bush one both. It isn't about presentation, because when everything your saying is made up, glorified, or so uneducated it really doesn't matter if you dabated well.

Kerry won the first, without a doubt. He DEBATED much better.

Bush overwhelmingly won the second. i love what he did with the "anybody need some wood?".... classic that made Kerry blush. Bush was much more comfortable in that setting of a town meeting.. Iacobus, who cares if he interrupted the moderator? he had good reason to. he wanted to rebuttle Kerry's answer, not the moderator's question. i was strongly distressed at hearing Kerry's answer for the abortion and stem-cell research issues... and THEN to state that he's Catholic, but he feels that he shouldn't make legislative laws preventing other's rights.

George Dubya has to win. for people to vote for someone like Kerry is insane in itself, after seeing all of his screwups last night.

LOL! I know they both Lied Pal. Tha tis what I said, before my whole Bush is a robort sent from Mars to rule the world tabolid story.

Ben, the rules of the debate, agreed to by both Bush and Kerry, stated that only the moderater can extend time on a question, and that is at his discreation, and he can ask a question, ie emblorate on what you just said esp xyz, and than Bush or Kerry or the wall or whoever he asked is supposed to answer that question. Both Bush and Kerry failed the answer the budget question and he asked again and Kerry semi answered it and Bush avoided it again. Disrespect the moderator is not only disrespecting the rules he agreed to but disrespecting an other human.

Let's put it this way, if Gibson was a judge, Bush would have been held in contempt of court.

Bush DOES own a timber company, look at his 2003 income thing.

i really have no interest whatsoever in looking @ Bush's income tax form. none whatsoever. it was just funny at the time.

i also do not remember hearing anyone saying that ONLY the moderator can extend time.

as to avoid answering questions.... that was Kerry 3/4 of the time. the moderator would ask a question, and Kerry would direct the answer to some carp about Bush not leading the troops the right way in the war on terror.

Apparently, the first woman who asked a question at the debate was on NPR -- and has decided to vote for Bush. I don't recall if she was leaning Kerry or not, and I don't even think her decision had anything to do with her question. She was offended that Kerry (and I'm not saying that he believed such) but he came across as condescending when he made the assumption that there were only 3 people in that room earning over $200,000/year.

She felt that he was assuming the audience was some kind of podunk low-class bunch of people from "muh-zoh-ruh."
