dUSt Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 I'm officially homeless. I'm selling my current house and have moved out to allow the buyer to move in before actually closing on it. All of our stuff is in my momma's garage. We're sleeping in my brother's old bedroom (me, my wife and two kids). So... This should be fun. haha
littleflower+JMJ Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 ooh sounds like fun!!! i hope you move everything fast and get settled in okay!!
Phazzan Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 You can stay at might house anytime dUSt! not
azaelia Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 That brings me back. We (my parents and my 4 siblings) had to crash my grandparents house for an entire summer while we sold our old house and hunted for a new one It was fun Prayers!
azaelia Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004
I hate moving...
Amen
dUSt Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Well, we found a house in an excellent neighborhood about a block away from a Catholic Church (although a little too "modern" for my tastes, it'd be nice to be able to walk to daily mass and go there for confession). The house will need a LOT of work, but the good part about that is that we'll be able to get it for a cheaper price. I hope we can get it.
theculturewarrior Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 You can stay with me and mister peterson. You and your family can have mister peterson's room.
dUSt Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004
What Parish are you at dUSt?
Complicated question... We're currently registered at this parish: http://www.stjoe88.org/ We attend Sunday mass at this Franciscan parish because of it's orthodoxy and focus on the Eucharist: http://www.smgparish.org/ And this is the parish I'd be a block away from if I get this new house: http://www.mostblessedsacrament.org/ And we're considering another house which is literally about 20ft away from this parish (the priest would be our next-door neighbor). It's an Anglican use Roman Rite parish: http://www.stmarythevirgin.org/
Luthien Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 You'd be surprised how close your kids will feel to their parents when sharing a room. They'll remember this time their whole lives. Good luck on the purchasing on the new home!
