theculturewarrior Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Hi, I'm a pretty wimpy guy. I was a lot tougher when I was younger, but now my belly jiggles like a bowl full of jelly, or so my niece says. Also, I'm somewhat sensitive. Not like John Travolta in Urban Cowboy sensitive. More like Woody Allen sensitive. In fact, I just wrote a pretty catchy song for a guy friend. It's pretty, well, sensitive. Seeing all this, what angle should I take with the ladies? (I'm sorry, I'm not going to fight your exboyfriend...that would make me cry?) I think I may just be *gasp* a metrosexual.
daugher-of-Mary Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 awww don't worry, tcw, most girls like sensitive guys. Honestly, I find the whole "macho" thing quite silly
theculturewarrior Posted October 29, 2004 Author Posted October 29, 2004 That's a relief. *wipes brow*
Sojourner Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Just be who you are. If there's one thing no girl likes, it's a faker. You want a woman who loves you for being who you are, not what you think she wants you to be. If that makes sense.

azaelia Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 There are girls out there who love the sensitive teddy-bear types. You just might find one who has a talking jacket of her own
azaelia Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004

Why the ?
Theoketos Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Be wild at heart still. Be Modest. Be Loving.
Quietfire Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 If she loves you, then even your belly wont offend her. Quick story, My husband used to get into brawls, and even some gang fights when he was younger. When we ran into each other after being out of school for a few years, he asked me out and I was hesitant. He was very sweet and polite with women, but I knew about some of his habits and didnt agree with them, but didnt tell him that. While in the course of our renewed friendship I found out that he didnt like the fighting. He just always got dragged into it. So there was hope there for me, and him. By then, I had fallen in love with him and found that I didnt need to 'change' him, but rather his 'habits'. Now he accuses me of turning him into a wimp. If he is in a situation where things seem to be getting violent, he starts looking around for me. I just indicate 'the door' and out we go! He cries about his belly and I tease him that YES, its massive. LOL He is different now, but not really. He just needed to find the right person to be himself with....enter me. Hes 'changed' me too. But that another story. Point is.....she's out there CW. Dont stare at the clock waiting for her. Trust that God will take of it and He will. I did. And once again He came through. Peace.

Mr. Peterson is holding you back -_-
BullnaChinaShop Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004
where am I going to find a woman with a talking jacket? That would make a great match.
MrsFrozen Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Are you sensitive and caring, or a pushover? Whatever you do, don't be a pushover!!!

cathgirl Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 I'm sure you are wonderful!! When I think of my future husband I don't imagine Arnold S. BTW-I don't know the about the whole talking jacket thing, but I'm sure that since God made someone for everyone with the marriage vocation, I'm sure that he made one for jackets too
