Surely you have something to say, or why post at all? These are the same kinds of misconceptions and outright lies about what the Catholic Church teaches that we here hear quite regularly. Of course, the ignorance in this case is mixed with hate. But no matter. It was refuted in Christianity Todday ( a prodestant publication) back in the early eighties,but why let a little thing like the truth get in the way of spreading a story that makes them feel better. Prodestants hear it and use it to confirm their own faith. Sort of like political attack ads.

I've found that trying to talk to them doesn't work, because they either don't responnd or just go on some anti-Catholic rant about how we worship Mary and the pope and statues and who knows what else. Excuse me? Hon, all we Catholics do is expose error when necessary. But when Protestants try and expose Catholicism's errors, they invariably misinterpret the teachings or twist Scripture.

I saw a site called Reformation.org or something refering to the Jesuits as a henchmen group headed by "St. Ingatius LIEola". I almost thought it was a joke. Pray for these people that they may know the true Catholic Church and except others with Jesus' example.
