littleflower+JMJ Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 has anyone seen his new movie? it looks good!!
crusader1234 Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 You mean Finding Neverland! I'm going to see it opening night! It looks like the best Family movie EVER. Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, the kid who's about to star in Charlie and the Choclate Factory (with Johnny Depp)... what a cast! I'm in love with Kate Winslet and this movie looks so ... goood and wholesome.
homeschoolmom Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 i'd like a post-viewing report, please...

Laudate_Dominum Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 People used to tell me that I look like Johnny Depp, but I haven't heard it in many years so I guess I don't anymore. I think when I was 15 I must have had some resemblence to Edward Scissorhands. hehe

Carrie Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 Pirates of the Caribbean was great! I'm definitely going to check out his new movie.
shelly_freak Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 I love him! He's an amazing actor and he doesn't play that Hollywood celebrity game.
BeenaBobba Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 He's a great actor and is quite handsome, too, if I must say so myself. He goes into his roles like a hand into a glove. Such ease. I absolutely cannot wait until Charlie and the Chocolate Factory comes out! It's gonna be so cool! God bless, Jen

lilac_angel Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 (edited) Yeah, he's the best. He really got into his role in Secret Window (I watched it multiple times so far, and though he's a tad crazy, I still highly enjoy his performance, especially because he's a writer *grins*)... and who couldn't love him in Benny & Joon? I also love his hair in the majority of his movies. Wild and free. Edited November 6, 2004 by lilac_angel
Sojourner Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 I saw Finding Neverland a couple of weekends ago. I think it's being released this weekend, but I saw it as part of the Heartland Film Festival. (Which, if you're ever near Indianapolis in late October, you need to see. It's a celebration of positive values portrayed on film, and manages to pick things that are artistically solid as well as family-friendly. I saw six stellar movies as part of the festival this year.) Finding Neverland was great. The cast is amazing, the storyline is beautifully written and executed, and the cinematography is really well done. Overall, it's a really enjoyable experience, and I'd unhesitatingly recommend it to y'all.
