I think often immodestly comes from a basic misunderstanding, at least with Christian women. One might think, "Oh this is cute, and comfortable, and well ventilated." But she probably doesn't realize that men are hardwired to react physiologically when we see her.

i definately think that a lot of girls could afford to be a little more modest.... it's hard tryin to be a good guy when there are clothes like that ....

You are so right. It's so hard to find modest clothing, let alone modest clothing that looks nice, fits, and isn't too expensive.

I honestly and truly believe that girls really do look better with more on then less. In italy- they dont dress like they do here. much more modest- and man it didnt take away from the girls' good looking ness
but yeah i think that girls need to dress more modest- in my mind theyd really look alot better.

Here's where the problem is presented. I would gladly wear jeans and t-shirts everyday if this wasn't also creating a problem. God created a woman's body not to be hidden with baggy t-shirts and jeans, so thus in doing this we are taking away from the beauty that God has created. At the same time we can't dress to revealing because that would be cheapening what God has created and leading some guys into sin. In today's stores the likelihood of finding something that isn't immodest, isn't too baggy which would take away from God's beauty that He has created, something that fits correctly, and is actually affordable. I'm telling you it's nearly impossible.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Shopping for clothes, at least for me, is very frustrating. The clothes out there for girls and young women are mostly immodest, mostly ugly, mostly over-priced, and on top of that, when you're short like me, there is that challenge, too, of finding clothes that fit.

I don't (I like loose, but comfortably fit clothing), but didn't people in Jesus's time just sort of wear robe-type things? B/c those were pretty baggy.
Maybe that's just in the picture books.
