KnightoftheRosary Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 All right I'm not sure who likes the show smallville, but I love it. But this season seems to be nothing but sex, sex, sex. IT's really anoying. I go to a Catholic College and I try and watch this show in the common room and can't becuase their so much sexual heat and it's like what's going on!!!!!!!! Their was this petition being signed to ask the producers to lighten up on the sex and it was posted on kryptonsite.com, well all these people told this guy to shut up becuase it was a free world and that he needed to grow up becuase this was life. What in heavens name is wrong with these people. There are so many people who don't have morals and values. So let's keep these people in our prayers!!!!!!! Pax and Blessings -KOTR-
Piccoli Fiori JMJ Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004
well all these people told this guy to shut up becuase it was a free world and that he needed to grow up becuase this was life.
That sounds like my mom!!!!!!!
ryanmeyersmusic Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 i too am a smallville addict suprised by the sexuality this season. we watched the first two episodes and like half the main characters (clark, lana, lois, and lionel) were naked! put some clothes on, people! also, we miss pete... season 3 comes out next week on dvd!
Thy Geekdom Come Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 I watch Smallville and I'm not going to watch this week because the sex was bad enough, but the commercials for this week's episode have three of the girls dressed up as witches and possessed by some force and reciting spells that sounded to be like demonic invocations in Latin.
shelly_freak Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Yeah, I too love Smallville. I have a poster and the 1st season on DVD. I watch those instead of watching the ones this season, they're just so diffrent. The show has changed alot and I'm not sure if I'm still proud to say I am a Smallville. When I don't feel comfortable watching the show with my 13 year old brother (who also likes the show alot) then I know it's not something I should be watching either.
KnightoftheRosary Posted November 9, 2004 Author Posted November 9, 2004 The whole idea of Lana, Chloe and Lois becoming witches is fascinating to me because I did alot of research on the salem witch trials. Plus they start chanting in Latin and I'm taking it here at college and am curiouse to see if they get if right. But the whole clark stripping down to his boxers and having lana all over him, I'm sorry that's not ok. Some people reading this may be like oh he so hot let's see more of him, but look at from a guy perspective you got three beautiful actors dressed up a litte scadelously but for the most part their costumes are ok. But then it's like this foursome orgy and you know that's just not needed :irate: well peace and blessings guys and girls -KOTR- :slam:
azaelia Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 This is the reason I don't watch TV shows, they always go downhill sooner or later... EVEN ED! -_-
LiL Kat Said Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 I'm afraid i too must say good bye to smallville! I just don't like it anymore. :leave: *Sigh* i will pray for the producer
1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Sounds like some shark jumping is going on. *Haven't watched any episodes for a really long time.
Karinsbestfriend Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 yea seriously, It used to be one of my favorite shows, but this season has gotten so weird. I don't know what happend to it, it has been going downhill all year.
Theoketos Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Hate to burst y'all bubble, but that show has always been really lusty.
shelly_freak Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 but not as bad as it is now...I mean Clark used to have morals (and clothes)
DancesforLove Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 I'm sorry but I can't stand Smallville, it's so lame and like you said sex stuff.
Thy Geekdom Come Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004
I watch Smallville and I'm not going to watch this week because the sex was bad enough, but the commercials for this week's episode have three of the girls dressed up as witches and possessed by some force and reciting spells that sounded to be like demonic invocations in Latin.
I decided to watch halfway through...they don't sound like demonic things...and it's viewed as objectively evil in the episode...
Paladin D Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 I watched some of Smallville when it first aired, but quickly lost interest. Is everyone sleeping around now?
Theoketos Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004
but not as bad as it is now...I mean Clark used to have morals (and clothes)
Did any one catch my Brownie Analogy a lil while back. The just added a little more "natural fertilizer"..
ryanmeyersmusic Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004
EVEN ED! mad.gif
After my own heart, azaelia!
shelly_freak Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 All the good shows either go down hill or get taken off the air! Why can't any good shows just stay good shows? Anyone remember Do Over? Veritas? Buffy the Vampire Slayer? All the good shows get cancled!
Don John of Austria Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 (edited) Okay is it just me or is there something wrong here-- lets see dispite numerous temptation and plenty of oppertunity Clark and Lana And Cloe are all still Virgins, which they agian confirmed for the viewers this week. The " possessing spirits" are lusty and decadent and they bring that decadence to others but they are shown to be objectively evil and the decadent activity shows them as corrupt, I was so happy that finally some show associated decadence with evil in a direct way. Smallville has always had the same position Evil is suductive and enjoyable-- Good is Hard and thankless but rightousness ahould be its own reward, WOW can you think of any other show that has had such a stance. It also shows that lieing is destrucive to human relationships, even when its done for " good{little g on purpose} reasons" witness the destruction of Clarks friendships because he sontinually lies to them. I frankly think it is one of the best shows on television-- it shows Good and Evil in no uncertian terms and shows evil to be all that it is -- easy, fun decadent cruel, destructive and treasonous... what more can you ask from a show. jmjtina Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 (edited)
EVEN ED! -_-
I loved Ed!!!!!!!!! I thought it would stay pure and innocent....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. what a world what a world. However, I'm glad Carol finally got Ed...I mean COME ON!!!!!!!! It took her long enough and then when he was with.....frankie? Sheesh, keep me anxious for a week to see what happens......but I did like that show! Edited November 15, 2004 by jmjtina
