I prefer lemon lollipops and popsicles to cherry ones. But I'd eat cherries straight, while I'd never do that with lemons (way too sour). And then there's lemon pie vs. cherry pie -- they're both so good; how could I possibly choose which is better?!

What about popular saying: "Go smell of elderberries a lemon" and "When life gives you lemons" are very negative, I don't like'em.... However: "Pretty please with a cherry on top" is quite positive.

cathoholic Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 (edited) lemon has some serious cleansing properties, in case of emergency it can substitute hair-gel and deodorant and when you mix with water and sugar it serves as a very refreshing drink (not to mention it's curatives properties when you make tea out of it's leaves), so hands down lemon all the way. ...although straberries are my favorite, you should have put strawberries, you know cherries don't stand a chance (although for some reason the poll differs). They're good, but not part of this debate! This is all cherry vs lemon. Strawberries would probably ruin both fruits.
