According to our very own Theoketos, the icon is of Our Lady of Good Counsel.
LOL, Can't you just see it now, GW and Tony Blair sitting side by side in RCIA class?!
It's not outside the realms of possibility!

Tony Blair has been spotted attending mass on his own (without his Catholic wife and family) and rumors have been that he will join the Church when he finishes office.

The icon may have been a gift to President Bush from someone. But I wouldn't be shocked if W. did the same thing that Mr. Blair might do. Those rumors were sparked on his behalf when his daughters went on the pilgrimmage of St. James in Spain.

Pray for all of 'em. :)

Jenna reminds me of yours truly when she was in college. A bit of a spunky chick who liked to have a good time, had a couple of silly moments, but a good girl at heart. ;)

Yeah. I thought the Bush daugters were prettier than the Kerry daughters. Bush's daughters got their mother's looks whereas the Kerry daughters definitely got John Kerry's face.

I agree that you are a geek :P but for your information Icons aren't painted . . . they are "written." So there you go, lesson number one.

6,000,000 to go.
