Mateo el Feo Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004
There is a deff a god...
+
(Christians are) standing and singing to someone who probably doesnt exist
Ahhh, the enlightened perspective of agnosticism: there is definitely a god...but he probably doesn't exist. "Um yea." This kinda wisdom flies right over my head...but then, I'm just an ignorant Catholic...

Instead of wasting ur time in a church praying and kneeling and standing and singing 2 someone who probably doesnt exist
Ignorance is not bliss. Infact, willful ignorance is nothing but foolishness. Read this... http://catholiceducation.org/articles/apol...ics/ap0002.html If you can prove what he claims in that article to be false and show me how it's false... I'll leave the Catholic Church, and give you $2000 for saving me from wasting all the money that I give to the Church. God Bless, ironmonk
dairygirl4u2c Posted November 17, 2004 Author Posted November 17, 2004 diary's wagger. god is life. if you create a fony god then u r missn the real 1. my wagur is that you should instead do what you do and know what you kno if u no what i mean. aka god. otherwise u out o luck. damed even
crusader1234 Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Sometimes I wish I was ignorant. Ignorance is bliss sort of, but when you've been exposed to the truth and choose to be ignorant, then you're just ... [expletive].
Guest Aluigi Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 you're damned if you reject Christ and His Church you're damned if you simply "do what you do" without not doing what you know to be evil and wrong.
dairygirl4u2c Posted November 17, 2004 Author Posted November 17, 2004 dairy's second wager. i follow a god that will give me everlasting life. his name is frank. now he believes that you should believe in his minions the boogymen. if u don/t ur damneded. therefore the only logical conclusion is that you should believe in frank oh else u be n some deep u no wut.
Cure of Ars Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I think kneeling before Christ my king is an honor, not a burden. I enjoy singing and giving praise to Christ. And talking to Christ is rather cool as well. Doing these things makes my life more joyful not less. But take Christ out of all that and ya it would smell of elderberries.
lol.. well show me a plethora of history and miracles attributed to frank and the boogymen and perhaps... i'll give you 2000 years worth of history, we've hammered it out and you've admitted at the very least the early church was very very similar to the current Roman Catholic Church then i'll give you miracles, specifically Fatima witnessed by thousands, including secular newspapers that said it actually happened and many skeptics who converted after seeing it. and Padre Pio whose doctor examined carefully and could never explain why his hands and feet and side bled.
Paladin D Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Please learn to spell and use proper grammar, thanks.
Guest Aluigi Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 pish posh. your sentence isn't the epitime of good english grammer either. let her alone, her posts made a bit of sense to me (grammer wise, certainly not logic wise )
I was thinking about this also, because I recall that Dairygirl's posts used to be fine in terms of spelling, grammar, etc. The difference between her first posts and the current posts is night and day. Dairy, what happened?
Guest Aluigi Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 do none of you remember what her posts were like when she first came here? i remember cause it was when we had the Back Alley and often times i would complain back there on how her grammer made her impossible to understand! currently, her grammer ain't too bad.
Only a fool answers a wager with a wager. Dairy is easily proven wrong by that one article that I posted. Where are the 70,000 plus documented witnesses? Where is the proof of St. Pio? etc... Please... think. To think properly, one must know the given arguements. To do that... go to the page. To argue against it without going to the page to read what it says is a sure sign of a fool... Think of a chain that is one mile long. You can see 50 feet of the chain, the rest is behind a hill. When someone asks you what is connected to the the chain and says that it can save your life. Are you going to answer with chain links are connected to the chain and they can't save my life or are you going to go over the hill and to the other end of the chain to see what is connected to it? You can only argue that the object can or cannot save your life after knowing what it is. God Bless, ironmonk The fool and the lazy will say chain links. The wise will go to the other end and see.
