Latest job lead a dead end

Some of you may remember me saying that I found a job opportunity as staff writer at a parenting magazine in Atlanta. Well, I didn't get the job. They didn't even interview me or offer to do so despite the fact that I was VERY well qualified! Nor did the person in charge of it ever return my calls when I tried to arrange an interview. Seems like I always managed to get her voice mail. I truly believe she was trying to avoid me.

I'm losing faith and wondering if I'll ever find a job.

As if that wasn't enough, my birthday is Friday, but thanks to this and other stuff that has been going on in my life it won't be a very happy one.

Man, when it rains it pours. This is just the latest in a string of bad things to happen to me. And it just makes the previous bad things to happen (losses, to be exact) hurt so much worse.

hey, i just found out that my latest job lead ALSO was a dead end. it was a really good place, and i even had an interview

stupid making me wait 3 weeks to find out too..
