homeschoolmom Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 In the spirit of Cappie's thread on THANKSGIVING... be thankful that you live where you can get an education and not in a society where you might have been sold as a slave or have to fight in a guerilla war...

Micheal5403 Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 I used to be home schooled but now i go to a public high school-it is a waste of time quite a bit yet there are some good classes (art )
Paladin D Posted November 25, 2004 Author Posted November 25, 2004
I'm homeschooled and at this time I am neutrual about it. What program are you using?
It's a mixture of a few different ones, one of them being "A Beka". (Anti-Catholic in their history books, we don't order from them anymore)
Paladin D Posted November 25, 2004 Author Posted November 25, 2004
public school=waste of time
I always hear this, but don't really understand why.

jinx Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 I have decided something... school is only terrible, because I don't want to be there. I havea bad attitude towards school, and it gives it back to me, in the form of my teachers, and parents. I have made a resolution to try and not complain about school. This is my senior year, and I want it to be the best year so far. I'm gonna keep a positive attitude. So, if y'all catch me complaining just remind me. Thanks y'all +jessica+
yeah, well actually after what i went through last year, I have to try so much harder not to get down with life. But I am slowly growing to a new understanding of how important an education is to ME and not only to my parents. Through constant prayer, I have come to the understanding that things will be better, if I make them fun!!! I'll pray that through the graces of God your senior year improves, and you have a great time. God bless +jessica+
disturbedxfairy Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 not really sure if i hate school, but just class. the classes for my major are driving me CRAZY! and when i try to complain to my dad he just says "well, if it was easy everyone would do it." he's got a point in a way i guess, but still.
reelguy227 Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 School does smell of elderberries ,big time ,unless of course its Science class ,which is awesome !!! God Bless, Ricky
Lavender Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Lately, school has been more bearable. The beginning of this year started out really crappy, but it's getting slowly better. A lot of my friends moved away this semester, and it was making me easily depressed and irritated. My life was really stressful and I think I might have taken it out on other people (sorry about that). I finally got my act together and decided to quit being such a witch. I know that I was worrying my friends and cutting myself off from everybody. Leslie (TrinityAddiction) can testify. The last couple months have been a lot better. *reads paragraph again* whoa...sorry if I'm getting mushy on y'all...
zwergel88 Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 (edited) yes, school smells of elderberries really bad. Edited December 3, 2004 by zwergel88
