I'm a Brand new Catholic with a new life and I just have a slight anger problem, especially when it comes to those who oppose the Catholic church.

You better check yourself!

Wunnerful, wunnerful. Welcome home from an old Catholic (an old convert who has been in the Church many years), but ten thousand years would not be long enough! My theory is that we have a familial relationship with the Church. The Catholic Church nurtures us, teaches us right from wrong, forgives our sins, feeds us with the Body and Blood of Christ, heals us in the Sacrament of the Sick, etc. The Catholic Church is our Mother. We are her children. When anyone disagrees with her doctrines, I discuss it objectively. But I tend to anger when anyone attacks or insults my Mother! I LOVE THIS CHURCH!!!!! Protestants generally do not have that kind of familial relationship with their denomination. Katholikos :D

Sometimes I go walk around the block until I can reply with a civil tongue. I get a lot of exercise that way. I have been working on my temper for 40 years, and at the rate I'm going it would take 4000 years to make a dent in it. SAy a prayer for me. Work on picking your targets :)
