Irish Frank Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 My question is this, have our beloved ones who have passed away the ability watch or even intercede in our daily path through life. Also, in praying for intercession can we pray directly to them or should we put our petitions directly to Jesus. I have the same issue when praying to Mary, should I pray to Mary or pray to Mary to intercede to Jesus for me
Pio Nono Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 JMJ 12/8 - Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Irish Frank, Sure, you can ask for the prayers of your relatives who have fallen asleep in the sleep of Christ. As to the Mary thing, go ahead - as St. Louis de Montfort says, every time you say, "Mary," she says, "Jesus." Prayers you make to her are given to Jesus, just through her. I encourage you to read his True Devotion to Mary. Hope this helps. Yours, Pio Nono
