[/quote] I understand what you're saying. But I always seem to put myself in other people's shoes and wonder what if that was me. I can't imagine living that way. Its all so difficult to comprehend.

It's shocking, horrible and I wouldn't wish anything like that on my worst enemy. However I remember the twins who share the same body (one body, two heads) and their faith in God and how they brought out the best in other people. That's not to say I think it's a good thing, but everything happens for a reason. Some people have different callings in life..

Theoketos Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 What? Being born is good in and of itself. Life is Good! Life is beautiful in itself! That Child is still a soul. Just because her body is different does not mean she is ugly! On top of that suffering is not meaningless! I am geniunely dissapointed with some people's attitude. I am sure that God loves the Child no matter what she looks like, and we should also.
daugher-of-Mary Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 She is a beautiful little one, sustained every moment by the God who loves her and brought her into being. Seeing this thread made me think of the Christmas story...the Infant Christ hidden in a rough stable. The little girl's body might not be "beautiful" by the world's standards, but that doesn't change the fact that she is a tabernacle of the Most High.
