Of course it's still wrong for whatever reason, but adoptions take a year or two at the least. Abortion has drastically reduced the number of children available for adoption, and there are now many more prospective adoptive parents than children without parents.

It was interesting to read the news reports on my local TV stations. The first headline said something about a "fetus removed from mother." When I checked back again they were all changed to "baby".
