Phazzan Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 What's wrong with Pee Wee Herman? He is a kind, joyful, happy man who brings joy to all kinds of children, across the far reaches of the planet. He may or may not be psychopathic, but he's done more good for this world than you or I will ever do. I know the real Pee Wee Herman is a bad bad disgusting man. But we're talking about the fictional Pee, the one everyone loves and adores, but bewares because of his psychopathic tendencies. Think of the children before you go judging other people. Pee deserves better.
BLAZEr Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Pee Wee is a weenie . . . For that reason alone he should be scorned . . . What ridiculous image of masculinity he presents.
Brother Adam Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Amen. Mr. Rogers on the other hand is an excellent role model.
peach_cube Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I love Pee-Wee. He brings back many good childhood memories. The movie is hilarious.
lilac_angel Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 (edited) I loved Pee-Wee too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He brought my brother and I COUNTLESS hours (or half-hours) of entertainment. Pee Wee's Playhouse! Had the greatest theme song. Come on in, and pull yourself up a chair (like Chairry !) Let the fun begin, it's time to let down your hair ! Pee-wee's SO excited, 'Cause all his friends have been invited (that's you !) To go wacky, at Pee-wee's Playhouse! There's a crazy rhythm, comin' from Puppetland (what that ?) Dirty Dog, Cool Cat, and Chicky Baby are the Puppet Band (yeah !) He's got a couple of talkin' fish, and a genie who'll grant a wish - Golly, it's cuckoo at Pee-wee's Playhouse ! Globey's spinnin', Mr. Window's grinnin', 'Cause Pterri's flyin' by (hello !) The Flowers are singin', the Picture Phone is ringin', And the Dinosaur family goes, "Hi!" Mr. Kite's soarin', Conky's still a snorin', There's the flashing Magic Screen. The Cowntess is so classy, Randy's kinda sassy - A nuttier establishment you've never seen ! Spend the day with Pee-wee and you'll see what we mean ! (Come on !) Get outta bed, there'll be no more nappin'! (Wake up!) 'Cause you've landed in a place where anything can happen - Now we've given you fair warnin' ! It's gonna be that kind of mornin' - For bein' wacky ! For getting nutty ! Golly, it's cuckoo ! At Pee-wee's Playhouse ! I looked those lyrics up because I'm not SO psycho that I remember each and every gem of a word. Edited December 19, 2004 by lilac_angel

As an adult I can see why my mother found him so obnoxious, but as a child he did provide a few hours of senseless enjoyment.
IcePrincessKRS Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 i7nvd, Holy cow... your signature is HUGE.

IcePrincessKRS Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004
Ya like that?
Um.... honestly? I like the picture but I don't like it that huge. Also, I'm always a little scared of big sigs because when dUSt said we could start putting pictures in our signature line again he said he didn't want them much bigger than the one in my sig (he made my sig for me back on the old phorum). If he decides people are taking up too much space with sig pictures he might take them away again.
Lil Red Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 he's creepy now...but as a kid, i loved that show. mr. rogers, now...i didn't have cable, so i couldn't watch him. and he creeped me out as a kid.
Maddalena Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Mr. Rogers was a Vietnam vet. XD He had like... 15 confirmed kills, and his arms were covered in tattoos -- hence, the sweaters. His friends said he never missed.

IcePrincessKRS Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Its not true, they are two totally different Rogers'. lol He was a protestent minister (Presbyterian I think). We didn't have cable but we got in chanels that had both shows... the only part about Mr. Rogers I really didn't like was some of the puppets... especially Lady Elaine... for some reason she creeped me out, I thought she was a witch. And she looked like a man.
Lil Red Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004
Blah, I heard it on Rush Limbaugh.
that just confirms my theory about Rush
DemonSlayer Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 The first Pee Wee movie was okay, but the sequel with him in the circus was terrible.
