popestpiusx Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004
LoL, that's not a limit I personally want to test.
NOt a good idea.
qfnol31 Posted August 27, 2005 Author Posted August 27, 2005
As a side note, surely it is obvious that there is a serious bias against the "right" in the Church today, while the "left" runs almost unhindered. It seems that the worst crime one could commit in the Church today is to be a traditionalist.
I found this and though I would reply, almost eight months later. Pope Benedict actually mentions why this is the case with some of the heirarchy, and that is mostly because they're so well-definied they're easier to counter (I'm talking about those in error), while the left doesn't always know what it's talking about, and so it's harder to counter them. (Okay, so I paraphrased some, but I don't think he likes going after the "right-wings" very much and wishes more could be done about the "left"). However, that is sadly only the Pope's opinion, and not the opinion of most other people I've met. (My friends, however, mostly agree with me. )
Soccer 15 SWC Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Well with what I know. I could be completely wrong but I think the church got soft when the reformations went on. I think this becuase they wanted to stop people leaveing.
Soldier4Him Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 so i thought this was a new thread til i saw i was the first to respond back in DEC OF 04! my reaction was about the same.
