I love the video during the 3rd verse, it looks like everyone is laughing and making fun of him. Totus tuus, Andrew Joseph
LSW Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Thanks alot for posting that. I'm not that much into Hip-Hop but that was really good. The audio quality could be better but never the less I really enjoyed it. Always wanted to see that video.
Paladin D Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Thanks for the video! I ordered the DVD a few days ago, hopefully I should get it today.
Guest Eremite Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I actually saw this video on a Protestant television station. Good to see it getting around.

Guest Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004
I actually saw this video on a Protestant television station. Good to see it getting around.
me 2 !
Paladin D Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Is it just me, or does this video look different from the sneak peek trailer? The trailer had some cool looking scenes.
Fiat_Voluntas_Tua Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 i thought so too...but i like it.

Paladin D Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 Someone posted a link to Fr. Stan's "Everybody Got 2 Suffer" music video (here), which seemed different from the original trailer. IT IS NOT THE SAME MUSIC VIDEO ON THE DVD! The link must have an older version of the video or an alternative one, because the music video on the DVD is as professional like the trailer and MUCH BETTER than the video on that link. I wanted to let everyone know this, because I'm not sure if anyone changed their minds on buying the DVD because the music video wasn't the same. Fr. Stan Fortuna's DVD is simply AWESOME! The music video is awesome, professional quality, and would be able to compete with other videos on MTV. The teachings are filled with wisdom and knowledge, main message is about human suffering, it's meaning and purpose in our lives. It's worth the $20, plus you get a few other goodies with it (catalog, an Adoration picture, and a neat Year of the Eucharist card with Fr. Stan painting on it). Check the features out here: http://www.francescoproductions.com/suffer/suffer.html. If you have been thinking on buying it, GET IT! Again to repeat: THE MUSIC VIDEO IN THE FIRST LINK IS DEFINATELY NOT THE SAME ONE NOR SAME QUALITY AS THAT ON THE DVD. Have a Merry Christmas.
musturde Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 thanx for telling us Paladin. I wasnt really feelin the first part. I mean it was okay but it wasnt really anything compared to mtv material.
Paladin D Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004
thanx for telling us Paladin. I wasnt really feelin the first part. I mean it was okay but it wasnt really anything compared to mtv material.
One example that makes this video better, is that they cut back and forth between Fr. Stan and the story scenes that go along with the song, just like you would see on most music videos.
Paladin D Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 I just saw something new today on the music video. One of the shots is of Fr. Stan and behind him in the distance is Manhattan, the camera shifted slowly to the left and showed the Twin Towers smoking and a big flame shooting out. They actually edited those towers into the shot, makes it look like that Fr. Stan was rapping during 9/11.
BigRedJ07 Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 that was very cool indeed... Fr. Stan rox my sox off!
Didymus Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Yeah... They showed the video at Steubenville last summer, it was sweet!
Didymus Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 (edited) actually, they showed a different version. This one is awesome! Edited January 6, 2005 by Didymus
Noel's angel Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 awwhhhh, i love fr. stan. i remember when he came to our school, he was so lovely
