Benedict Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 So what is the purpose of FlyFree that differs from Phatmass? Thanks to my dorm's fiddler, while I am at school I can only access Phatmass and not FlyFree.

CatholicAndFanatical Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 unless that whole IP domain has been banned, then it would block it. what prolly happened is flyfree is on the same domain as someone who was hacking or spamming and the school black flagged the whole IP Range so they wouldnt have to deal with it anymore. just a guess
Benedict Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 While plausible, a whole bunch of religious sites are blocked by my dorm. The USCCB website used to be blocked. Several anti-Catholic boards are filtered (thank God). Random websites are sometimes blocked too. The problem was that one student showed up with a virus on his computer and infected the whole network. The school is pretty stupid and decided to kill a mosquito with a cannonball.
