They're setting up their sleeping bags, have packed their suitcases etc... I asked if they were planning to stay up till midnight... they looked at me like I was crazy. "No... but please don't put us in our beds when we fall asleep!!! We already packed breakfast!!"

Yeah, it's fun to be supermom... It takes so little to make 'em happy. (provided you don't spoil them with that stuff all the time!)

My mom just told me today that all the times I stayed up for new years as a kid were actually the new years in New York (2 hour difference).

I feel so betrayed.

 and now you know.... But wasn't it fun when the ball dropped and everything? It would have been anticlimatic an hour later...

I am so not lying to my kids when I grow up.

You so will... sometimes...

But I never lied about NY's... my kids can stay up if they want to... We're going to bed...

Okay... now they are talking about going to sleep... something about being able to sleep on the living room floor in sleeping bags is making them all giddy!!!

The only problem is that they are set up in front of the one and only tv in the house... guess it's an early bedtime for me and hsdad... now if the baby will only cooperate... ;)
