St. Peter's was pretty weak sauce, but Piazza Navona had a pretty kickin' fireworks show.

[/quote] Yes, the western U.S. Bishops in particular do strange things. When I was in the Roman Rite I found it odd that we celebrated Ascension Thursday on Sunday.

THere is never mass where they place ashes on your heads? I think they moved our Assention Thursday to Sunday too.. I hate it when htey move the Obligation masses! I was so naive to think that they would never do such a thing
