I love Wisconsin winters... snow, beautiful white, snow ..... freshly laid upon the earth..... and the roads.... on which I have to take my driver's test tomorrow.... on SNOW AND ICE!! :freak:
I'm right behind you there... my test is on Feb. 9th. I hope I pass! I need more practice with paralell parking, but I hear there's a small chance they'll make you do it in winter weather.

Good luck with that :thumb:. My dad wouldn't let me get my permit yet <_<

I live in Washington, DC for now. I'll be moving up to Boston in August for college. :)

For my 16th birthday, my mom actually bought herself a new car. It's a red Toyota Corolla- really cute car. I'm happy, though, because I got to see The Phantom of the Opera movie while we were picking it up in a different city. :D

I wish you the best of luck! I actually didn't have to parallel park because we didn't find a car along the roadside. ^_^ I was quite relieved... last time I parallel parked with an instructor he laughed at me.

I agree. That's what I drive...cept it is a tanish color, not red.

Parallel Parking is so overrated. Where I took my test, it's a bunch of cones set up. I had no idea how to parallel park, but I figured I should see if I could still pass without it. I lost points for not knowing where my rear defroster was (because I learned how to drive in spring and summer and you don't need to use it then), but I drove really well, so the cop who gave me my test asked me if I knew how to parallel park, and I said no, and he passed me with a 79. I still don't know how to parallel park and I'm almost 23!

Besides in Missouri and Central Illinois, you don't need to know how to parallel park!

OMG am I the only one from elsewhere? :cyclops:

I'm from Ohio. Here, we don't have to parallel park for our drivers test. We had to do maneuverability between cones. I go to college in Pennsylvania and they had to parallel park so most of my friends make fun of me because I have no idea how to parallel park.

I grew up in Indiana. I am now very happily a resident of the great Commonwealth of Virginia.

I wondered where the person from elsewhere came from. Welcome Benedicite. Good to have a kiwi on board.

Just for the record I think it was Demonslayer, Phazzan and myself who voted from Australia but I know Yiannii, MorphRC, Kuya Lee and DORK4JP2 are also Australian. Then there's my friend, st anne, who made 12 posts, and a 12 year old friend, the teen Titan, who has never posted (doesn't have internet at home). That's makes 9 Aussies that I can think of. A 13 year old friend, Aaron, may be registering.

Does anyone know of any other Aussie Phatmassers? Oh yes, ICTHUS is an Australian, isn't he/she?

God bless
Robert

 Beautiful place, Montana, but no, you are sadly mistaken, Western Australia is Heaven.

Nearly 2 million other experts agree with me on this conclusion -_- .

Writing from Heaven as I am, may God bless you :tiphat:
