cmotherofpirl Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 (edited) Tesa called and said they were in a car accident, car must be towed. Thinks they are ok, five girls were in the car. Someone pulled out in front of them. There is not enough room in the car for me to get to the accident scene so I am sitting here totally frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAYERS requested! Brother Adam Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 I was talking to her just a minute ago and they are on their way home. She is waiting anxiously. . .
homeschoolmom Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 It's tough on a mom when your kids do something and you can't just kiss it and fix it... <sigh> Helplessness is one of the worst feelings...
journeyman Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 most definitely prayers - don't leave out the Dads - we're not as good at worrying as you moms (actually we are, we just show it differently!)
picchick Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trasspass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
littleflower+JMJ Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 oh no! i hope they are okay! prayers!!!!! car accidents
cmotherofpirl Posted January 4, 2005 Author Posted January 4, 2005 Girls are shook up , probably a bit bruised. Wendys'car has a smashed in driverside front end. Other car has a totalled door and side. He pulled out in front of them. They had the green light he didn't. He tried to leave the scene of the accident so the girls sat on his car til the cops came. Whens car is old [87] so the insurance compnay will probably total it and she will be out of a car. Sigh. This is the part I hate most about being a single parent. I have to be strong, and not get upset, when my insides are screaming. I have to be the comforter, the advisor, the reassuring grownup, when I desperately want somebody to give me a hug. I can't cry or get upset. I hate being in charge. It smells of elderberries.!@#%^#$^* Tonight I go to my room and bawl my eyes out. Again.
