Lounge Daddy Posted January 13, 2005 Author Posted January 13, 2005 Ok – I am hitting the post office after work tonight (er – tomorrow morning… I am working 3rd shift – blah) I apologize that most of are receiving your CDs late, seeing as I posted that they would be in the mail almost a week ago My excuse is I had to go on a third shift this week leaving little time for much more than my family And also I had to pick up some more padded envelopes – I thought five would be enough – seriously, I was expecting a handful of interested people [b]I am mailing out 19 copies as of this post…[/b] And a 20th to Dust whether he likes it or not (ready yourself for “unsolicited material” my friend… bwaaa haha!) Also – I have decided not to rush a first “finished product” This is partly due to reading another thread here on PM and some real thought I due have a problem with patience – and so I rush into things I don’t want to rush something out that sounds too amateurish However I am also not going to put off a finished product indefinitely… The finished CD [i]will be this year[/i] I know I need to grow… but at the same time we are always growing An artist is someone who uses his current talents to share his current self (self-view, world-view, thoughts, opinions, etc) with others I love what God told Jeremiah “say not I am too young…” Read Jeremiah 2:7-10 Maybe this applies also to us young artists who feel we are just beginning God bless you all Oh – and I also now have some extra padded envelopes if anyone else wants a copy of the Victory Welfare demo CD Get it while its still hot off the burner, yall Hehe

ilovechrist Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Lounge Daddy.. got the cd yesterday. very good work, i must say. on a couple of the tracks.. i dunno if its your style or not.. it seems that you put a tad too much in.. e.g. a lot of different sounds mixed in a 30 second section of track 1... it kind of distorts... distracts from the actual melody and flow of the track. course its just my opinion, i'm not sure if its your preference to do that or not--but nevertheless, very good work!
