I want to let God help me but I'm afraid God will put me in a worse situation then he already has and/or he'll hurt me physically like most people I know do

Honey, you never have to be afraid of God! He loves you so very much that He from all eternity desired your existance and your love. He has already carried your cross to Calvary. Offer Him the weight in your life- all your disappointments, hurts, fears- He will carry them for you. Anything the Lord gives us in this life as a trial is only meant to be for our greater good. He loves you so very much. Call on Him, and let Him love you. Pray. Listen to His voice. It's not the Voice of the fire, earthquake, or strong win. It's the Voice of the gentle whisper.

God did not put you in this situation. He is hurting right along with you. When people hurt you, they hurt Jesus because He is in you. He sees all. He has something so great in store for you. All you have to do is give up your problems and let Him handle it. His shoulders are big enough to handle problems that our shoulders can't bear. And He will carry you along with Him.

I am glad. But it is still going to be hard. But try to keep the phrases that are helping you now always in your mind to help K?

Maybe try meditating on the Sorrowful mysteries. Be present with Jesus during His time of intense pain and suffering. Be with Him and share His agony with Him. Then look to the Cross... see the Lord who will wipe away every tear. Maybe you should meditate on that a little bit.

If you don't pray the rosary everyday, I would highly recommend it! Just in my own life, I've noticed that the graces that come from praying the rosary are powerful and plentiful!

Whhheeeeeee, I always like the ups much better than the downs on roller coasters too G-Freak! But remember that Christ is there on both.

Check my sig, that's one of the things that has kept me going these past few weeks since my Dad's death.

Nothing we suffer do we suffer alone.

You're in my prayers. ^_^

I just had to learn this, let me tell you it was really hard, but i felt so much freedom and joy once i let go and trusted God.

i pray a rosary ever day and if i didnt i would have a generalized anxiety disorder. I tried other forms of daily prayer, but i find that if i dont pray the rosary it just doesnt work as well, God hears those other prayers and answers them, but they just arent as strong as the rosary.

G-Freak, that's the best news I've heard in ages :) Truly!

I can't add much, except to reiterate what others have said. *hugs* Pray the rosary. Unite your suffering with Jesus'.

Remember that God loves you. He died for you.

Hey, G, God does not punish people who seek his help.
