gonzaga Posted January 10, 2005 Author Posted January 10, 2005 one of the best days of my life, you can probably imagine 80 000 of us in the one place lol amazing and the cathedral is beautiful! so wonderful... I want to go back in the future, no doubt
Noel's angel Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 hopefully ill get to go some day. i want to travel a good bit
DemonSlayer Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Great result, how many in Celtic's current roster is Catholic though?
gonzaga Posted January 11, 2005 Author Posted January 11, 2005 Not sure, didier agathe usually goes to my Mass, last time I seen him, he parked his porsche outside and gave a homeless person standing outside £20, which I thought was pretty cool. I think quite a few are catholic, the foreign players like to Bless themselves as they run on the park, but the scottish players are more reserved( as the press would say they are being bigoted)
Noel's angel Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 that's reaally cool about Agathe, a nice change from the susual attitdue we see from moany footballers
gonzaga Posted January 11, 2005 Author Posted January 11, 2005 Yeah, I thought so too. Also, 'f**k the pope' chants coming through loud and clear on sunday from the rangers end
DemonSlayer Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 (edited) Neil Lennon is also Catholic. Edited January 12, 2005 by DemonSlayer
Noel's angel Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 yeah. Why cant the Rangers suppporters concentrate on the game in hand, instead of making ignorant comments about the Pope. Hes got nothing to do witht the fact that Celtic are better than Rangers..
gonzaga Posted January 12, 2005 Author Posted January 12, 2005
Neil Lennon is also Catholic.
Yep! Which is great. But is part of the reason he gets booed at every other ground in Scotland because he's a Catholic from Ireland...
