Pio Nono Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 JMJ 1/9 - The Baptism of the Lord Let's all play.... Guess the Dictator and/or Television Sit-Com Character It's actually remarkably accurate.
geetarplayer Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 How do they do it? My picks were, in order, Josef Stalin, Joey Tribiani (from Friends), Napoleon Bonaparte, and Donna (from That 70's Show). They got all of them right! -Mark
Pio Nono Posted January 9, 2005 Author Posted January 9, 2005 JMJ 1/9 - The Baptism of the Lord I guessed Benito Mussolini, Deng Xia Ping, the Skipper (from Gilligan's Island), Gloria (from All in the Family), Mr. Haney (from Green Acres), and Basil Fawlty (from Fawlty Towers). It got them all right.
rachael Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Guess the TV show or movie name
Benedict Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 I did Andrew Dice Clay from Bless this House. They got it wrong. This is the same trick as "There are no grey elephants in Denmark."

Apotheoun Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 It has successfully guessed: Hogan, from Hogan's Heroes Ethel Mertz, from I love Lucy Maxwell Smart, from Get Smart Tony Nelson, from I Dream of Jeanie Hazel, from Hazel Alex P. Keaton, from Family Ties Nanny, from Nanny and the Professor (a very obscure tv show from the 70s) and Lucy Ricardo, from I Love Lucy

the_rev Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 How do they do it? I went Elaine Bettis, and Adolph Hitler, got it both times.
the_rev Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I guess Adrian Monk, they got it right.... GRRRRR!!! I'm going to stump this thin one of these times... Trust me... Let's go, Gil Grissom.
Apotheoun Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005
I stumped it the first time with Emma Nelson from Degrassi.
I didn't know that Degrassi was a sitcom.
Apotheoun Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 This website must have a pretty good little database, because it even guessed Uncle Martin from My Favorite Maritain correctly. I was only player number 38 to choose that character.
