Braces

man that's gotta reek like dead fish!!!!! i just got mine on like 2 months ago. my dentist said that id only have to have them for 1&1/2 max! but now he's saying 2&1/2 yrs ave.!!!! :angry: that reeks and what reeks even MORE is that i just got them tightened yesterday, and my nurse chick couldn't get the band on, so she was pushing my teeth and pooking them and gook! so now my mouth hurts like a mama frekin' over a bad test grade!!!!! :argue: grrr! i can't even eat a pb&j sandwich for Heaven's sake!!!

I was in bed on 5000mg of Vicoden and 2500mg of Dexotren daily for a week.

This was more for my surgery, of course. But I got braces on two weeks later. Meh!

ive had mine on 4 almost 2 yrs now and i get them off in about a month!! ill have them off for HS!!!

I've never had braces. But everyone that I know who has braces say they smell of elderberries. But I have one friend who really wants to get braces. LOL.

i wanted to get them be4 i had mine but ppl were always warning me that id hate them.........now that i have them there not so bad (but they hurt like crud for the first week or so)

Braces . . . I got mine on May of my fifth grade year and they didn't come off until December of my 9th grade year. Once I got them off, I couldn't stop running my tounge over my teeth. They stink, but you'll survive, espeically if you don't have to have them on to expand your jaw PLUS fix an overbite like I did.

I've had them twice... and oral surgery 4 times... and my wisdom teeth are still in my mouth... my front 6 top teeth are half fake... smile pretty!!!

I've had massive orthodontic work done. Even had my lower jaw broke so it would grow straight. Now I'm stuck with braces, had them for a year, should get them off before I start college. (In three years. )

I remember when i had braces, Good thing it was short bout a year and a half...
but i've had dental work done since like 3rd grade. they had to break the top part of my mouth to make it bigger n all that fun stuff.

Yup, braces totally smell of elderberries. I got mine off a year or two ago, and now my sister is getting hers, and she's like "are they really that bad?" and i'm like "....yeah." The idea of using metal bars to forcibly bend your teeth is quite barbaric though. But hey, it works! And my teeth were pretty crooked, so I'm glad i got them. The worst thing is an expander though. Those things are just brutal.

I had em about 2 yrs and 4 days and I didn't like them at all but now I have a great smile! i just hate having a retainer at night
