how did you find phatmass?

I found Phatmass while doing a google search on CATHOLIC CELEBRITIES.

I found Phatmass because I was looking at the links on New Advent and thought it sounded sacrilegious...

Our prior Bishop's (RIP) wish before his death was that the entire Faithful of the Diocese recieve our Diocesan newspaper for three years at no cost. In one of the first issues that came to my house, there was an article on the back page about a place for Catholic teenagers, Phatmass. The article mentioned the site had games, so I went. A few dispersed visits led to my joining of the forum.

I've often wondererd how others find out about it. I've never seen it advertised.

I was doing research on Google. Along with a million billion protestant sights that slammed the church, I found phatmass!
I used to hang out on lifeteen.com, but I didn't really like it there - Lifeteen itself is pretty orthodox, but the people that post there are definitely not. I always get depressed when I read some of those posts. . .

dUSt and phatcatholic were posting on the very anti-Catholic message boards Former Catholics for Christ. I joined phatmass but never really posted.

A few months later, JustFran asked a question on another Catholic message board and I answered it. Then I started conversing with her over a messenger and she told me about phatmass. I came by again, remembered I had an account, and started posting.

A young guy that our community was ministering to loved rap and hip hop. To give him something positive to listen to I did a search for Catholic Rap and Catholic Hip Hop. I found the Apologist's website, liked the songs and then I found Phatmass and pre-ordered the Massmatics CD.

I joined Phatmass to find out how out how to get hold of the Apologist's CD.
