hyperdulia again Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 PSP you rock. As I once said to Don, "If I were a chick I'd propse."
spathariossa Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005
?
I love you too, and I'm sorta a girl now but the Church won't let me marry. Otherwise I'd propose too.
hyperdulia again Posted January 14, 2005 Author Posted January 14, 2005 Your posts. I enjoy them. Their honesty is brutal and as best I can tell they are beaver dam near irrefutable. This post in particlar is a response to something you said on a closed thread. Reminding folks here that Phatmass and the Church are not synonymous.

I don't think he should be labeled as Phishy - he is clearly orthodox. Edited January 14, 2005 by spathariossa
hyperdulia again Posted January 14, 2005 Author Posted January 14, 2005 (edited) I only attend the Latin Mass now. The abuses tolerated in the NO (not the NO itsself) are, well, intolerable. Edited January 14, 2005 by hyperdulia again

The abuses tolerated in the NO (not the NO itsself) are, well, intolerable.
I found a very traditional NO mass that I like. It is closer than the long drive to a latin mass. Otherwise I'd go latin everyday too. This way I can go to mass every morning. I think God probably likes that.
Guest Aluigi Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 i tried to get him de-phishified once. i think he's still phishy only because he was too sarcastic on that thread
Sojourner Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 I think he likes being phishy. But he is cool.
My niche is the very consevative Novus Ordo Mass I have found. In case somebody reading this doesn't know, Novus Ordo is fancy term for "vernacular."
Guest Aluigi Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 actually, no. even the name "Novus Ordo" is in Latin, the Novus Ordo Missae is a LATIN MASS. The Church now allows masses to be said in the vernacular, though Vatican II says latin must be retained. the NO is ordered differently from the Tridentine, it took alot of stuff out of the Tridentine and added a few other things. But the norm for the Novus Ordo is Latin

It wouldn't be so funny to read him, he is like Dave Barry.
