jimbo Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 The only play I was in as a child was "Frankenstein". The others were school plays, so I got "adult" roles. "You're a Good Man", with any luck, will be my first role as "not a child" in a community play...

franciscanheart Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 My dad was Charlie Brown in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" not too terribly long ago. He was the leads in most of his high school productions. I am more of a singer than I am an actress.... now. I discovered stage managing which is oh so fun but I will never quit loving acting. It's all great but I really strive right now to work on my vocal techniques because that is something I do every day, in or outside of choir and voice lessons. I love that show - "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged" - so funny!! OH! And we're going to see Bat Boy at a local college that has an amazing theatre program in like.... a month. It's going to be sooooo cool! I love that show! It's the BOMB!"
franciscanheart Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 did i mention that our rival school, the one with more money [better sound equipment, money for better costumes (we make all of our own and sometimes have to scrap things together), a turntable, better everything] is doing.... LE MIS yeah. im freaking excited (and bitter at the same time grrr) but yay! I get to see it this weekend, its going to be AWESOME. i saw it at convention [Texas Thespians Convention] two years ago and i nearly peed my pants it was so good. oh hey... did i mention im the president of my thespian troupe? my heart truly is in theatre
