I really need a good tooth paste, just want to the dentist the other day and they said I had like 11 cavities between the teeth.

Interesting fact:

Recent medical research suggests that toothpaste actually doesn't do much at all for the health of your teeth. The only things that really help are floss, listerine, and dental tools. My bio-med professor told us that last semester.

yes, this is true. being the granddaughter of a dentist and at the age of 17 having braces twice, and periodental surgery twice, and oral surgery 3 times, and not even having my wisdom teeth out... i would know... flossing your teeth 3 times a week will add 4-7 years on to your life, so floss away!!!

But my favorite toothpaste is... mint gelpaste... right from the dentist's office...

yes, it can... however the chance that the only factor in the cavities is breathing through your mouth is slim to none... it simply strengthens the chance of cavities... if you sleep with your mouth open, there is a special kind of toothpaste that you can use, but it is only in the experimental stages... not even sure if it works

No. It's soda. Soda is evil.

I have never drank a drop of soda in my life (save for the few times I have attempted to like it, and failed) and I have never had a single cavity. And I breathe through my mouth. :D

I don't really like those new toothpases. I even got free samples in the mail, and it wasn't what I was hoping for. I guess I am just a Colgate girl. Have you tried the new Reach "Access" daily flosser things? they are really cool, especially if you have something really stuck in there
