can't seem to find this document

Dear Friends in Christ,

Some time ago, a priest recommended that i read a papal document called "Maria Filia Patris." I believe he said it was by JPII. It discusses Mary from the standpoint of the humble Jewish maiden.

I've finally gotten around to looking for it, and have had no luck at all. Tried vatican.va, several online document collections, even google.

Has anyone heard of anything like this? Did my priest friend err in his Latin declensions when he gave me the title?

I'm trying to better understand my relationship with the Blessed Mother, and i think this would help.

Many Thanks,
D.Be

I don't know if it pertains to what you're looking for, but there's a great book called "With Jesus -- the Story of Mary Co-Redemptrix" by Mark Miravalle that is really good. There are some beautiful parallels referencing Mary in Scripture and throughout history. It really helped me grow closer to the Blessed Mother. (you can actually download it here: http://www.voxpopuli.org/withjesus.pdf)

And you absolutely cannot pass up any of St. Louis De Montfort's writings if you're looking to grow closer to her.

God bless.
